It’s official, Jeezy and Jeannie Mai are tying the knot! The couple is engaged as of March 27th – even though Jeezy had originally planned to pop the question later this month during their scheduled trip to Vietnam. But with coronavirus putting all out of country flights on pause, Jeezy decided to surprise her in his LA home.
“Jeannie and Jay were set for a trip to Vietnam this April. What Jeannie didn’t know is that Jay was planning to propose. Instead, Jay decided to bring Vietnam to Jeannie with a surprise quarantine date night in his home filled with Vietnamese food and decor,” shared Mai’s rep. (via PEOPLE)
It truly is beautiful to see their love flourish – after only dating since November of 2019, when they met on the set of “The Real.”
“Getting to know him has been one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. He’s introspective, he’s passionate, he’s incredibly deep, he’s a visionary, he’s a great leader, he’s an amazing servant to his community,” Mai shared.
As for Jeezy, simply put, “Life is amazing. She’s amazing too.”
