New Jersey native Rajah Mahdi delivers a brand new project titled The Yung Picasso, a 14-track EP mixed by the artist and produced by 9 talented minds. The EP paints the mindset of a wise mid-20’s up-and-comer and his approach to the rap game varying from the preconceived notions of others. The “Picasso” reference alludes to Rajah Mahdi enjoying the creative process of the music. Like the title, the project is painted in vivid storytelling, well-thought witticisms, and an upward outlook.
The project also comes with a visual for “The Get Right,” which was shot in Camden, NJ. The music video draws its inspiration from the city itself, set at Ben Franklin Bridge bringing in a reconstruction feel to the video and capturing the colorful city buildings.
