oday, multiplatinum musician Yung Bleu announced the release of his new single “Baddest (feat Chris Brown and 2 Chainz),” which is set to appear on his forthcoming debut album and is currently available to stream on all platforms HERE via Vandross Music Group, Inc./EMPIRE.
The super-collaboration – which was produced by Hitmaka – showcases Bleu’s signature melodic flow alongside Brown’s smooth vocals and Chainz’s witty lyrics. “Baddest” also marks the first new solo music release for the Alabama native since he delivered “Thieves in Atlanta (feat Coi Leray)” earlier this year.
The new single also comes on the heels of this week’s announcement that Bleu would be performing on the Day 1 festival lineup at Rolling Loud New York 2021.
Bleu has enjoyed a meteoric rise since the release of his breakout song “You’re Mines Still (feat Drake),” which appeared on his acclaimed project, Love Scars: The Five Stages of Emotion. His collaboration with Drake recently earned RIAA platinum certification after reaching No. 1 at urban radio and peaking at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Beyond his solo releases, Bleu has continued to collaborate with a versatile array of young and established artists, delivering verses for Mooski’s “Track Star (Remix) with Chris Brown and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie,” Lakeyah’s “Perfect,” and Taleban Dooda’s “More Than Average,” among others.
Most recently, he teased new collaborations on Instagram with both Grammy-nominated singer Chloe Bailey and international singer Davido. With a unique blend of hip-hop and R&B, Bleu – who is managed by Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers – has established himself as one of the artists to watch in 2021.
