I would first like to congratulate Morray – the Fayetteville standout has now joined the company of Pooh Shiesty, Flo Milli, Coi Leray, 42 Dugg, Toosii, and Rubi Rose The XXL Freshman class this year has selected him as a member, an honor sure to further raise his profile. Announcing the release of a new video for “Mistakes,” a Dystinkt Beats and SephGotTheWaves-produced track, Morray keeps it real, while highlighting how far he’s come, financially and otherwise:
Taking place in a confession booth, the accompanying clip is directed by Christian Breslauer. A part of the song comes to life when the Pick Six talent stands in an empty room, in which he appears to be opposite both his mirror image and himself over the course of the song. While watching footage of the Black Lives Matter protests play from a projector, Mr. Morray is seen boasting about his accumulated wealth and spraying champagne at a butler nearby.
The track is taken from Morray’s Street Sermons mixtape, a series of 13 tracks that features hits like “Can’t Use Me,” “Quicksand,” & “Nothing Now,” This was Mr. Morray’s first chart-topper and passed Gold certification. Besides the previous release, you can also hear Morray’s vocals on J. Cole’s Off-Season hit, “The Off-Season.” “m y . l i f e.”
