In STARZ’s “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” Quincy Brown makes his official debut this Sunday (Aug. 1). This is the most-engaged series on the network since it premiered on July 18. It was produced by 50 Cent. Crown Camacho, a local music producer, will be portrayed by Brown on the show. Beginning with episode three, titled “Stick and Move,” fans will first see Brown.
Brown told POPSUGAR, “Crown Camacho is the ear to the streets as well as the plug to the music.” “Music speaks more than anything to me in this lifestyle, and everyone wants to have the newest artist with the hottest song, so that’s me that has to go through.”
The rapper joked about Brown’s feud with Diddy while praising Brown’s acting skills. Raising Kanan got that heat from @Quincy’s performance on this show, he wrote. “I looked at his tapes and I thought, ‘Fuck fighting with Puffy.'” I’m impressed with this NI66A. Yeh, I’m a need him in this.” A popular show created and written by Sascha Penn, also stars Joey Bada$$, Omar Epps, Mekai Curtis, Lovie Simone, Malcolm Mays, and more.
A number of new music videos have also been released by Brown. The song “On Yo Azz!” was released late in July. The concept film features a montage of virtual reality-inspired visuals and a short film about feeling alone on a two-way street. Both songs are performed smoothly by the 30-year-old entertainer, and the videos are beautifully produced. It’s safe to say Brown is making big moves this summer with his new music and TV show, as well as modeling Beyoncé’s latest Flex Park clothing.
His Qrew, as well as any new fans who want to chat, can call him. Thankfully, he’s not too busy to answer their calls. Brown encourages everyone to text him at 917-920-2488.
