Earlier this year, King Noah Rankin, CEO and founder of 7 Kings Entertainment signed a joint venture deal with the legendary and iconic Cash Money Records. Through this deal every new artist that signs with 7 Kings Ent. and King Noah will automatically become a part of the Cash Money family. Currently, there are two artists on the label that are actively signed to both 7 Kings Entertainment & Cash Money: GSO Phat & Towhid.
Noah has always looked up to Slim, co-founder of Cash Money Records, as motivation and applied the same hustler mentality to the blueprint for his own success, long before forming a personal relationship with him. After an introduction through their mutual friend, Stunna, Noah and Slim linked up in Miami and the rest is history. The best piece of advice that Slim has given Noah is to believe in himself, keep doing what he’s doing and the rest will fall into place.
Noah’s love for music began in the mid-90s, over the years his passion for music grew and he cultivated it into a lucrative business. What started out as a conversation between Noah and his sister blossomed into Noah starting his own label. The more Noah and his sister talked about their love for music Noah realized he wanted to help others share their stories through music by creating a label. Prior to launching 7 Kings Ent. in December 2018, Noah was a consultant and had always been an entrepreneur with multiple businesses such as cleaning franchises, restaurants, and medical facilities. Noah is poised to become one of the biggest independent and most influential black business moguls in the music industry.
The name 7 Kings is a biblical reference as 7 is considered God’s prophetic number in the bible and is an allusion to the 7 Kings in Revelation. Being a man of God, Noah credits God, his own hard work and the support of his dedicated team and family as the keys to his success. 7 Kings wouldn’t be complete without VP K. Rankin, A&R Taurse Rankin, Mary Rankin, Five, A&R and manager TJ aka Trason Smith, manager Sonee Black, Weedy, Chris Logon, Tyreel Dean, Steve-O, Deonte Monteria, Darren Smith aka D-Boy andFuzz aka D-Wreck. Noah aims for 7 Kings Ent. to become a well-established label built off of the values of love, integrity, respect and truth. 7 Kings Ent. strives to elevate and mold their artists into future platinum and gold selling recording artists as well as Grammy award winners.
King Noah has the highest of expectations for his roster and any artist he considers signing. More than anything else Noah wants to see an artist’s heart and work ethic shine through in their music. Signing an artist who also listens and believes in the label’s vision and core values is another priority for Noah as he treats his artists like they’re his family. Additionally, Noah Is considering signing 1 more male act and discovering his first female act.
