When I was a kid I always performed and sing for my family And did talent shows in school
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PROJECT YOU’VE WORKED ON TO DATE?
My favorite project is my new single “DOWN TO MY FEET” ft Bankroll Freddie produced by Dj Drummaboyfresh oct 15,2021 because I got to work with one of my favorite artist and produced by one of the best beatmakers
CAN YOU ROUGHLY OUTLINE YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS – FROM THE BEGINNING OF AN IDEA FOR A PROJECT OR A COLLABORATION TO THE POINT OF COMPLETION? While I’m going through certain situations in life and looking at things in life from a new perspective I feel like I have to express it so I write it down and make a song , I hit someone and ask for a feature , pay the price and make magic
HOW IS THE REALITY OF BEING AN INDEPENDENT ARTIST/PRODUCER COMPARED TO YOUR EXPECTATIONS OF IT?
Lol , you have to have money , a lot of money . Thought that people would hear your song and like it then they would keep listening, but you have to really invest in yourself especially with promotion to even be heard
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES AND DIFFICULTIES YOU FACE WHEN STARTING NEW PROJECTS?
Getting the melody I want to it , without it sounding so flat , or dull or boring , making sure there’s up and down tempos And a mix of everything
WHAT DO YOU DO TO STAY CALM WHEN A PROJECT IS NOT GOING AS PLANNED?
I go to sleep and wake up the next day with a new fresh mind, with a totally whole new idea and start from there, sometimes add pieces in from the day that didn’t go as planned
DO YOU HAVE ANY INSIGHTS, TIPS OR ADVICE FOR SOMEONE STARTING LOOKING TO START THEIR MUSIC CAREER AND LOOKING TO GET INTO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?
Invest in yourself, promote yourself, never give up, if you feel like people don’t like your music… there are more people then you think who actually do and feel the same thing that you’re expressing through the song, keep perfecting your skills until it becomes easy and natural with no force or overthinking
