Following his collaboration with fellow Midwest mob virtuoso Icewear Vezzo on “Melrose,” Doodie looks forward to keeping his fans warm with a heater full of cold-blooded lyricism. Directed by CrownSoHeavy, the video finds Doodie chilling with his guys in a dim-lit studio as they smoke backwoods and lay out impressive money spreads. Complementing the eerie trap production and somber room, Doodie emphasizes that his fast-paced lifestyle as a rapper and a master of the hood are not mutually exclusive: “I be rapping, but got P’s on the low/You better ease off that snow/‘Fore I sneeze, and they blow.” Optimistic about his artistic growth in 2022, “FACE” is proof positive that Doodie has found his pocket and he’s ready to be the next hard-hitter out of his collective.
