On February 15, Kodak Black released his latest LP Back For Everything. The album included 19 tracks, including the top-rating “Super Gremlin” as well as Lil Durk’s standout track “Take You Back.” It also achieved commercial success, peaking at number two on the Billboard 200. The album was also a hit with 60,000 units sold during its first week.
Kodak has released a teaser visual from his upcoming album, “Purple Stamp.” The track flips the color to describe both his past struggles and his current triumphs, as the title suggests:
In the accompanying clip, which was created by WavyLord and Kodak himself, the color purple dominates Kodak’s outfit. The musician wears various Baltimore Ravens jerseys during his performances. This video includes appearances by Kodak’s mother, Marcelene Octave.
Besides “Super Gremlin,” “Purple Stamp” also features previously released videos for, among others, “I Wish,” “On Everything,” “Grinding All Season,” “Vulnerable (Free Cool),” “Midas Touch,” and “Love Isn’t Enough.” During 2014, he has helped artists such as Yungeen Ace, Gunna, Yo Gotti, and Latto.
