When Solace Nerwal, started deejaying for private events and clubs around Washington DC when only 16, he was already thinking ahead.
He built his own recording studio and started making his own music.
From Bollywood influences to American hiphop; he fastly found his sound.
Releasing his first album “Solace” in 2013, and many singles every years like the song “1.30 am” in 2021, he finally decided to release his deep and bouncy song “Clever Chick” in October 2022, the same song which earned him a licensing deal with Ingrooves, a sub-label to Universal Music Group aka ‘UMG.’
“Clever Chick” is decidedly influenced by Bollywood, mixing indians sounds and hiphop samples into melodies that drag you into your own mind travel. It’s clear from the success of this track that Solace Nerwal has a knack for creating music that can be enjoyed by all kinds of listeners, from casual fans to audiophiles to people who just want something to listen to while they’re studying or doing their taxes.
Solace nerwal will be releasing more music with the same atmosphere over the coming year. He has plans to become a houselhold name across the globe and to perform at gigs and festivals once things have stabilized safely.
