Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, EMMY® and GRAMMY® award-winning multi hyphenate, has officially kicked off his highly anticipated The Final Lap Tour. The global tour celebrating the 20th Anniversary of his game-changing debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, brought 50’s epic performance to Salt Lake City and Denver with two sold-out shows. The icon took fans on a journey of his expansive catalog of music, playing fan-favorites and chart topping hits like: “What up Gangsta?”, “Window Shopper”, “Candy Shop”, “In Da Club”, “P.I.MP.”, and countless more.
Last night, 50 Cent took over Denver’s Ball Arena with a blowout set, including a surprise special treat for fans with performances by Aboogie, Da Baby, and Flo Rida joining 50 on stage. The show’s movie-style production is undeniable, featuring a full band, massive backdrop of screens, world-class pyrotechnic elements throughout, and much more. The visual journey across 50s career as a rapper, entrepreneur, actor, and producer is celebrated and highlighted from beginning to end.
Right before his performance, the rapper hosted a Sire Spirits Pre-show reception with friends and colleagues who traveled in to support The Final Lap Tour kick-off which included Aboogie, Da Baby, Joe Sikora, Joey Bada$$, Michael Rainey Jr., Isaac Keys, Kris Lofton, Tommy Flanagan, Gianni Paolo, Method Man, London Brown, Malcolm Mays, MeKai Curtis, Russell Hornsby and more.
Before the Denver show, 50 set the bar high for the rest of the tour with its first show at Maverik Center in SLC on July 21, captivating fans who had eagerly filled the venue to its sold-out capacity. And to add to the thrill, special guest Jeremih joined 50 Cent on stage for a few songs along with surprise appearances from Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda. Busta Rhymes also helped set the stage for 50, performing a bunch of his hits which got the crowd pumped.
