In the heart of Milwaukee, a new musical talent is emerging, and his name is SwagLoa. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Milwaukee, SwagLoa’s journey into music began at a young age, fueled by his passion for basketball and the rhythmic beats of his grandmother’s girl group, the Golden Girls.
Growing up on the north side of Milwaukee, SwagLoa was surrounded by the rich sounds of artists like Michael Jackson, Usher, and Chris Brown, whose influence inspired him to pursue his own musical dreams. With determination and drive, he began freestyling and recording his own tracks, laying the foundation for his future in the music industry.
Despite facing challenges, including the incarceration of his brother and the loss of his beloved grandmother, SwagLoa remained undeterred, using his music as a form of self-expression and catharsis. As an independent artist, he has collaborated with KB Barrell, carving out his own path in the industry.
SwagLoa’s music reflects his experiences and struggles, offering listeners a glimpse into his world and a message of resilience and hope. With tracks like “Down the Middle” and “Drumroll” that are set to drop very soon, he invites audiences to connect with his journey and find inspiration in his story. SwagLoa also has plans to drop an album later this year titled “Now or Never.”
As SwagLoa continues to rise, he remains grounded in his roots and committed to his craft. With each song, he shares a piece of himself, inviting listeners to join him on a musical journey filled with passion, purpose, and endless possibilities.
