Belfast breakout artist Jordan Adetunji connects with his muse, 2x GRAMMY® Award-nominated, multi-platinum songstress Kehlani for the remix to his summer smash “KEHLANI” via 300 Entertainment.
Speaking on the much anticipated collaboration, Jordan Adetunji shares “Working with Kehlani has been a great experience because I’ve been able to see her process, and how she sings, how she places things, and how she says her words. Even her just translating what I said on my song to her verse was just amazing, it was seamless.”
The global phenomenon “KEHLANI” currently sits at 100 million streams and debuted at No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 – marking Jordan’s first entry on the prestigious chart. Billboard recently crowned the rising UK star as their R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month. The single is No. 16 on the Shazam US Top 200 and No. 23 on the TikTok Top 50 Chart. The electrifying “KEHLANI” visual has amassed over 20 million views, maintaining its position as a Top 20 music video on the platform.
The full circle moment arrives on the heels of Kehlani inviting Jordan to perform at her sold-out Crash album release event in London. On the song’s inception, Jordan says “Making a song about Kehlani was a no brainer to me, her confidence and huge cultural impact is something I love! I love confidence. Especially when people do things that put themselves out there, doing things out of the norm and showing huge ambition.”
