HipHopSince1987 had the opportunity to sit down with The Lonegun, CEO/Artist of YA-YA! ENT, and get to know the man behind the music. Hailing from the Great State of Texas by way of El Paso, The Lonegun has been making waves in the hip-hop scene with his unique style and dedication to his craft.
I come from the Great State of Texas, and I was raised all over the state,” The Lonegun shared with us. “But no matter where I go, I always hold down my state and represent where I’m from.
The Lonegun’s stage name has a simple yet profound meaning. “I stay one deep most of the time,” he explained. “I’m not always with my fellow comrades in the booth or at events. That’s how I came up with the name Lonegun – one deep, standing on my own two feet and ten toes.”
When asked about his inspirations and motivations, The Lonegun gave thanks to God for blessing him with his talents. “I want to use my music to change lives and help those less fortunate than myself and YA-YA! ENT,” he shared.
The Lonegun also expressed his gratitude to his fans and supporters worldwide. “You all are the reason why I’ve made it thus far,” he said. “I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to listen to my songs, mixtapes, or anything that YA-YA! ENT has put out.”
With a bright future ahead of him, The Lonegun is ready to take his music to new heights. “Sky’s the limit for most, but for me, I need more,” he stated confidently.
