Born and raised in what is also known as Roc City, Yella Pain has faced a life marked by adversity. As a child, he was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia, which caused him to be hospitalized repeatedly due to various episodes. Throughout his childhood, Yella Pain found refuge in music, using it as a platform to express his personal experiences and the challenges he encountered.
Instead of breaking him, his circumstances have fueled his determination, propelling him toward a music career that aims to inspire and uplift others.

You can do and be anything you want.” Yella Pain is currently in the recording studio completing his new project which is due sometime in the summer. “I’m excited to share this new journey with all of my supporters and I can’t wait for you all to hear this new music I’ve been working on,” says Yella Pain.
