Cardi B has been dominating the headlines this year between her second pregnancy, her divorce, her legal battles, and now the release of her highly anticipated album, Am I the Drama. One person paying close attention? West Coast rapper and entrepreneur SKG (Helecia Choyce), who says Cardi’s new project is hands down one of the best albums of the year.
“She had so much working against her, and people were definitely doubting her,” SKG shared. “But she came back swinging and landed on top.” In fact, SKG was so impressed she actually bought the album something she hasn’t done in years. “I listened to it from start to finish and didn’t skip a single track. That says a lot. She really reopened the door for female rappers of all ages.”
SKG, who’s made major moves both in music and behind the scenes, says Cardi’s comeback is a lesson in determination and reinvention, and she’s here for all of it.
