DNA-500x498 Award-Winning Artist DNA Picasso Drops Highly Anticipated Project “IF NOT ME, THEN WHO?”

“If not me, then who?,” asks the title of acclaimed Denver hip-hop artist DNA Picasso’s new album, dropping Tuesday, October 14. With ten tracks totalling a brisk twenty-seven minutes, IF NOT ME, THEN WHO? is Picasso’s first full-length solo project since his award-winning 2023 masterpiece The Color Blü. On his latest, Picasso explores his role as a curator, tastemaker, and caretaker of Colorado’s music scene, from the vantage points of both an artist and advocate. From the high-energy crowdpleaser “Hustlerz Anthem” and the house-influenced “Club Tonight” to the R&B-influenced slow-burner “Rumors” featuring Dominique Christina, IF NOT ME, THEN WHO? showcases exactly why Picasso has remained a mainstay of Colorado music through the ebbs and flows of an ever-changing industry.

As the co-founder of the Colorado Music Industry Alliance, Picasso has made advocating for local musicians a matter of personal responsibility. “My upcoming album IF NOT ME, THEN WHO? is me stepping into a vulnerable yet confident space. It’s about reflecting on where I’ve been, where I am, and where I’m going—while recognizing my role and responsibility within the culture,” he explains. “For a long time, I tried not to center myself in order to uplift the scene. But I’ve realized that by dimming my own light, I was actually holding the scene back. This project is about owning my power, embracing my influence, and understanding that my greatness contributes directly to the future of Colorado’s music industry. Because if not me, then who?”

IF NOT ME, THEN WHO? features production from eight different producers, and was fully recorded, mixed, and mastered by LN Deuce at The Lab Studios. The album will be out on all music platforms Tuesday, October 14. For more information, advanced listening copies, or interview requests, please contact DNA Picasso at [email protected].
