Relocating to the United States at just one year old, QUASEY was raised in the Greater Atlanta area, where his love for music and performance began to flourish. Before fully committing to music, he was also a standout athlete, earning a full football scholarship to Albany State University. After an injury redirected his path, QUASEY embraced his true calling, graduating in 2015 and dedicating himself to a career in music.
QUASEY first gained industry experience as a member of an R&B group, sharing stages with notable artists such as Babyface, Fantasia, Lyfe Jennings, Mint Condition, and Kevin Ross. Following his transition into a solo career, he quickly captured attention with his breakout single “Take Off,” which reached #1 on ATL Web Radio for three consecutive weeks and held the top position on DJS United Global/XSquad DJs charts for an impressive seven weeks.
He continued building momentum with “Ándale (Come On),” a fan-favorite record that resonated strongly with audiences, followed by “Secret Admirer,” accompanied by a music video and a series of promotional appearances and interviews.
Expanding his artistry, QUASEY has successfully stepped into the Southern Soul genre with standout singles including “Friday,” “Taste,” and “Stay,” all currently available on major digital streaming platforms.
