On May 30th, California Zalympix hits LA with a music bill that reads like a hip-hop crossover most events couldn’t pull together if they tried. E-40 is performing a full set. Shoreline Mafia comes home for an LA crowd. And it gets crazier from there.
The 7 PM Three-Way Set
At 7 PM, Indianapolis rapper Truski takes the main stage — and she’s not taking it alone. Yukmouth (Luniz co-founder, Smoke-A-Lot Records, the voice on “I Got 5 On It”) AND Yung LB (Long Beach rapper and Runtz co-founder) are both stepping on stage with her for a special three-way set, courtesy of presenting partner My Butler AL.
Bay + LA + Indianapolis on one stage. The veterans putting on for the new artist. That’s the kind of co-sign that doesn’t happen by accident.
Two Cheef & Greets in the My Butler AL Lounge
Both Yung LB and Yukmouth are also hosting Cheef & Greets inside the My Butler AL Lounge — and yeah, “Cheef & Greet” is exactly what it sounds like.
- 4:20 PM — Yung LB. Runtz co-founder. The Long Beach rapper who helped build one of the most influential cannabis brands of the modern era is pulling up to actually meet the people on the most intentional time slot of the day.
- 7:30 PM — Yukmouth. Straight off the main stage and into the Lounge for a one-hour window. Real face time. No velvet rope.
And Connoisseur Grade Only is running the Lounge roll bar from 2 PM to 8 PM — six straight hours of curated, hand-rolled fire.
My Butler AL: The Platform Putting It All Together
The whole Lounge is presented by My Butler AL — the social media app that doesn’t censor or shadowban cannabis users — in partnership with Black Cannabis Magazine and Give Them Flowers (GVTHMFLWRZ). AL’s founder Summer Grays is from Indianapolis. So is Truski. The hometown linkup is part of what makes the booking real.
