In a music industry filled with overnight sensations and fleeting trends, NuWorld Meg has built her journey on something much deeper: passion, persistence, and the power of storytelling. Known to fans as one of the standout voices within the NUWORLDBABY movement, NuWorld Meg, born Meagan Clare, has been writing and creating long before she ever stepped into a recording booth. Her love for words began at just seven years old, when she first discovered poetry. What started as a childhood hobby would eventually become the foundation of a growing music career.

“I’ve written poetry since age seven, so writing songs was the logical next step,” Meg explains.

Her introduction to rap came early. At age eleven, she began rapping in her room, inspired by the raw emotion she heard in classic hip-hop records. One song in particular left a lasting impact. “The first rap song I memorized was ‘Mama’s Hurting’ by the Ghetto Twins. I could hear and feel the emotions in it, and I was hooked.”

That emotional connection to music continues to define her artistry today. Rather than chasing trends, NuWorld Meg focuses on authenticity, delivering lyrics that reflect real experiences, personal growth, and genuine feeling. As she entered her twenties, Meg took her talent beyond the bedroom and into the spotlight. She became a regular performer at open mics across the Gulf Coast, performing alongside artists from various musical backgrounds. Her dedication eventually led her to local rap competitions in Mobile, Alabama, where she earned respect from fellow artists and audiences alike. “I ended up being a regular at these rap competitions in Mobile, and I even won one time.”

Education also played a role in shaping her unique style. While attending college, Meg studied Spanish, an experience that unexpectedly strengthened her abilities as an artist. Throughout her journey, Meg embraced criticism as a tool for growth rather than an obstacle. Instead of becoming discouraged, she used feedback to sharpen her craft and evolve as a performer. As for what’s next?

According to Meg, the answer is simple: “The music is never going to stop.”
