Artist Queen Quality recently won a new distribution deal with Level Up Records, a company under Universal Music group that organized a showcase in Atlanta, Ga. Queen has a throwback style with new edge energy that can compete with any female rapper in the game now.
Queen likes to attribute a lot of those sad moments to her greatness today. She tells a story about not speaking up for herself for so long and the hardships that came along with it, being the catalyst for her ability to speak for not only herself but those who have yet to find their
voices. Since primary school, Queen has been a full blown Entertainer. Performing neighborhood cheers for the community she grew up in (Creston Plaza Projects) and choreographing routines that they would later use in community talent shows etc. Once Queen discovered the Art of rapping, she was hell bent on being not only as great as the Lady Artists before herself but even the men. She explains that her love for words is what makes her a powerhouse lyricist. English/Language Arts was her favorite studies in school.
Today, Queen Quality is building her platform organically through networking and supporting other Artists and others within the music
industry taking the internet by storm. She’s utilizing all of her experience and skills to catapult herself into this new world of music. She explains, “Change is inevitable, you have to evolve and adapt to the current:” This is evident in her constant drive and motivation to always being open to learn even after years of beating the pavement. Queen Quality is a breath of fresh air to the ears and soul. Her melodic tone, hard hitting lyrics that are full of substance and meaning are what many HipHop listeners have been begging for. Queen has that sweet 90’s Hip Hop era sound we all grew to love but can easily adapt to whichever era of sound she wants. With a mixture of beautiful instruments combined with her unique sound, accompanied by informative lyrics that tell the stories that most can relate to, her music is very personal and vivid.
