The constantly evolving story surrounding T.I.’s most recent prison stay just might be coming to an end. TMZ points out that the Atlanta rapper has been moved back to the halfway house he was supposed to start living in two weeks ago. You can read a statement issued by T.I.’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, below:
“We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.’s rights by providing B.O.P. officials and the media with reliable and accurate information and that T.I. did not intend to violate his transfer furlough or any other B.O.P. rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta.”
T.I.’s sentence officially ends two weeks from today, Sept. 29, though he will be supervised by a probation officer for 12 months.
As we reported, T.I. was previously returned to prison after officials objected to reality show producers being on his tour bus, which was transporting the rapper to the rehabilitation facility.
