I remember back in 1994 when Michael Jordan left the NBA to play Minor League ball for the Double-A Birmingham Barons. Back then people thought they had witnessed a end to an era. Little did we know the Jordan Brand era would be born not long after. In Honor of MJ’s time in Alabama, Jordan Brand will be releasing the Air Jordan 9 “Birmingham Barons” on April 4, 2014.
