Lakers guard Kobe Bryant is taking his A-game from the court to the screen in an upcoming Spike Lee documentary.
The famed director will be filming the NBA star for an upcoming ESPN Films project. Lee reportedly began shooting yesterday, following Bryant for a day-in-the-life style documentary.
Lee told The Humor Mill that the film will air on either ESPN or ABC next year.
The new project is one of countless film credits on Spike’s mile-long resume. A few of the director’s better known flicks are Malcolm X, Do the Right Thing, School Daze and He Got Game.
According to IMDb.com, Spike is also working on an untitled sequel to the 2006 Denzel Washington suspense thriller, Inside Man.
