General Assembly, a New York tech school, has created a new scholarship that would benefit veterans, women, African-Americans, and Latinos interested in technology. Google, Microsoft, and Hirepurpose have all signed on to fund the scholarship program. Nas has also announced he and his QueensBridge Venture Partners will help with funds as well. The rapper and his partners will be funding the African-American and Latino scholarships. Microsoft and Hirepurpose will provide funding for veterans and Google will be funding women to attend the school.
