The Miami Dolphins first pick in last years 2013 draft, Dion Jordan has been suspended for the first four games of the 2014 NFL season due to violating the NFL’s performance enhancing substance policy.
Jordan, who finished with only two sacks last season, was the third overall pick last season however teammates and Miami Dolphins brass began to realize something wasn’t right when Jordan reports to OTA’s having gained over 20 pounds of muscle.
Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin had this to say when asked about Dion Jordan, “We were disappointed to learn about Dion’s suspension. Dion has accepted responsibility for his actions and is committed to improving, both on and off the field, in preparation for the upcoming year.”
Jordan will be eligible to return to action week 6 when the Dolphins face Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for all your NFL news.
