Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have confirmed that they are splitting after six years of marriage. The couple have been living separately due to their work schedules. According to several sources, she is heartbroken. “It has a lot to do with Nick’s career choices. He does not have to work, but he’s been throwing himself into gigs and projects. She has tried and tried to get him to stay home more, but he always uses work as an excuse.” Their lawyers have already discussed property settlements, custody issues, and a confidentiality agreement. Nick confirmed that they were living apart and admitted to “trouble in paradise.” Hopefully this doesn’t get as messy as it seems to be getting, especially for their young children.
