Bodega
This video is funny because I just recently about a year or two ago start calling my corner store a bodega. I know the term is commonly used in New York but dam in Philly we call it a corner store. Bodega is such a cooler name. A bodega is your all stop shop for food whether its lunch and you want one of them dollar hoagies, quarter hug, and in the mist of the white tee era a fresh $5 dollar or 4 for $20 white tee. Not to mention certain bodegas hold the new bootlegs, phone cards, every chip, candy bar, and soda out.
Ghetto Big Mac
This ghetto big mac is something new to me. I am infamous for ordering the $1 double cheeseburger with big mac sauce and lettuce, but asking for the quarter pounder bun is a step up. I think McDonalds will start regulating people if the wave of ghetto big macs start to erupt over America.
Checkmate (Check cashing spots vs. Banks)
This is crazy because I use to be a check cashing person before I was introduced to the whole direct deposit? bank thing. Why walk to check cashing spot when your money can be placed into your bank account automatically on paydays at 3 in the morning? There are no fees, now walking to be done, no time being spent in the lines, no id needs to be shown.
I like the internet celebraties videos are informative and funny at the same time.
