Philly’s own Mo’Ne Davis’ 70mph fastball and her heart has earned her a spot in the MLB Hall of Fame. After becoming the first Little League player to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated and the fourth woman to play in the Little League World Series, Mo’Ne Davis will donate her LLWS jersey to the MLB Hall Of Fame.
Later today, Mo’ne and her Little League teammates from Philadelphia’s Taney Dragons and the Anderson Monarch will travel to Cooperstown for a special ceremony. Earlier this year, Mo’ne made history becoming the first woman to pitch a two-hit shutout and becoming the first woman to win a LLWS game. Congrats Mo’Ne, you are making Philadelphia proud.
