At around 8:45 p.m. Philadelphia police were called to the report of a shooting at the intersection of 51st Street and Kingsessing Avenue.
When they arrived, they found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Philadelphia Police Lt. John Walker tells Action News five people were shot.
One was shot in the abdomen.
The others are said to have non-life-threatening injuries.
No other details about the shootings have been released.
Police continue to investigate.
