Recently dropping their “Howard Uni-Verse-City” album, rapper/producers, Noetic, and SickaSoundz, drop a new single from their collaboration.
While producing the track, Noetic sampled The Weeknd’s “Often,” pairing it with heavy drum kicks and bass. Lacing it with his own lyrics, it makes for an interesting interpretation of the original. I must say, both emcees’ aggressive deliveries are reminiscent of a younger Cassidy – especially on this particular song. Noetic, in particular, seems to have mastered his street edge while maintaining a high level of finesse. SickaSoundz also holds his own, honing the second verse.
