The Atlanta Hawks stand at (9-5) and are currently on a three game losing streak after losing to the (5-10) New Orleans Pelicans last night at Philips Arena (112-94).

For the Atlanta Hawks, the two highest scorers on the team were Kyle Korver (5-6) and Dennis Schroder (6-13) who both finished with 14 points each. Three Hawks players finished with 10 points (Taurean Prince, Malcolm Delaney and Paul Millsap. Dwight Howard scored 8 points in only a little under 19 minutes of action. The Hawks play the second game of a back to back tonight so Coach Bud may have factored that last night with Dwight’s time on the floor.

For the New Orleans Pelicans, they started off strong with a 34-14 first quarter lead and they never looked back. Pelicans point guard Tim Frazier was huge for New Orleans last night scoring 21 points and dishing out 14 assist. Terrence Jones was under the weather but he managed to score 17 points after Pelicans star Anthony Davis left the game early after diving into the stands after a loose ball. Davis finished with 13 pints in 18 minutes of play.

The Atlanta Hawks are back in action tonight in Indiana as they face former Hawks point guard Jeff Teague and the Indiana Pacers. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more NBA news. Follow @eldorado2452 on Twitter and Instagram for all your Atlanta Hawks, NBA and sports news.
