Philadelphia rap mogul/actor Gillie Da Kid’s new project ‘Welcome To Gilladelphia’ is currently heating up the streets so it was only right that we catch up with Gillie and see just what all he has going on.
HHS1987’s Rick Dange recently sat down with Gillie at Bat Cave Studio in Philadelphia to discuss ‘Welcome To Gilladelphia’, Gillie’s plans for the year 2016, a possible Major Figgas album and more. Working with Jeremih, Sarah Barthe and others on this album, Gillie spoke on releasing several visuals already and preparing to release a new video with PNB Rock for their record “We Gone Win”.
Gillie also gave us some insight on his plans for the year 2016. Looking to release ‘Welcome To Gilladelphia 2’, Gillie informed us that he has no plans of slowing up in the booth and that he could begin to take on a new role in 2016. Already known for his skills as a wordsmith, ghostwriter and artist, Gillie is looking to groom and put out his own artist. With new music featuring Boosie Badass and a new film “Blood Brothers” on the way, 2016 is looking bright for Gillie Da Kid.
