On Wednesday December 7th, ESPN held media sessions for the 2016 Home Depot College Football award finalists at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta. As many of the award finalists were preparing for a few days of celebrating their individual achievements for the 2016 College Football season, we caught up with USC DB/WR Adoree’ Jackson.

Adoree’ Jackson has been mister do it all for the USC Trojans playing an a defensive back, wide receiver and special teams returner. Jackson was nominated for the Jim Thorpe Award for the Nation’s Best Cornerback. Adoree’ Jackson hasn’t just made an impact as a three year starter at cornerback, Jackson’s offensive talents have him viewed as one of the best. Jackson finished the 2016 season with 4 inceptions and 4 touchdowns on special teams.

During our interview, we spoke with Adoree Jackson on the USC Trojans upcoming Rose Bowl matchup against Penn State, USC overcoming their slow start to the season and more. Jackson also spoke on what it means to be a USC Trojan and possibly winning the Jim Thorpe award.
