The hype surrounding the Nike “Air Yeezy” has gotten so big with sneaker heads that the shoe release even has a dedicated fan site. NikeAirYeezys.com is run by a hardcore fan who even went directly to Nike to make sure that the Air Yeezy would be given a proper release. According to the site, Nike will officially release the Yeezy to the public in March of 2009 and Kayne will be in full control of marketing, release schedule and even distribution. This will be interesting to see how the largest athletic shoe manufacturer in the world works with Kanye and what they have in store.
