Today not only is the opening of Diddy’s movie Get Him to the Greek where he has his most prominent film role ever, but it also is the opening of his first Sean John pop-up shop in Los Angeles…Hollywood to be specific. The shop, called “Future Shop” is the company’s second sustainable and earth friendly pop-up store made up of recycled wood and metal, re-used from the same fixtures that they built their first Miami pop up store with.
Sean John, in collaboration with Eastern District Gallery, will present an installation of sustainable furniture and art by Jason Horvath and Aakash Nihalani in the newly designed 2,800 square foot space. Of course since it is a Sean John store it will also house their spring/summer and early fall 2010 collections of sportswear along with sunglasses, fragrance and a specially-designed selvedge denim and knit capsule collection only available at the “SHOP FUTURE” pop up shop. You can be sure Diddy will be making an appearance soon.
