The Philadelphia Eagles have just agreed to keep All- World quarterback Michael Vick for the long haul. The Birds and Vick gave agreed to a six- year $100 million contract with a little under $40 million guaranteed. The Eagles had designated Vick as their franchise player and had until Sept. 20 to sign him to a long term detail.

This is Vick’s second $100 million deal receiving his first with the Falcons which was $130 million and the richest in the NFL at that time. Vick finished second in MVP votes last year after having a phenomenal season and starting in the Pro Bowl despite a first round playoff lost to the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers. This year it’s Super Bowl or Bust.

The Eagles have been kicking out dough all summer long and hopefully Vick’s deal won’t be the last deal of the season. Vick’s favorite target Desean Jackson is in the final year of his deal and is looking for a extension. Fly Eagles Fly. E-A-G-L-E-S , Eagles!
