The Chicago White Sox have wasted no time in hiring a replacement for former manager Ozzie Gullien.
The White Sox have agreed to a multiyear deal with another former White Sox, Robin Ventura. Ventura who played with Chicago from 1989-98 and hit 171 home runs has been working with the club since last season as a special advisor. Ventura will be the 17th former White Sox to coach in the southside.
Former manager and player Ozzie Guillen resigned last month and was hired to be the new skipper in Miami with the new look Miami Marlins.
