Justin Combs’ Receiving a UCLA Scholarship causes Uproar
By: @EvataTigerRawr
Justin Combs, son of mogul Diddy Combs, received a UCLA scholarship to play football for the Bruins. Since the announcement of him receiving an athletic scholarship, much commotion about the decision has occurred. Many believe that the Combs’ family makes so much money; he doesn’t need a scholarship because he can easily pay that money. Others believe, and this is a stretch, that if he were white nobody would complain. Was UCLA’s decision right or wrong? Nobody should deny an athletic UCLA scholarship, because it’s a competitive program.
Combs went to Iona Prep in New Rochelle, NY and graduated with a 3.75 GPA. Other schools being considered were Iowa, Virginia, and Illinois. He apparently led his school to the semi-finals in the cornerback position. Combs, who can also play quarterback, is a 5-foot-9, 175 lb. three-star athlete.
