Three time reigning scoring champ Kevin Durant may be responsible for Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers’ early 2012 NBA playoff departure but the superstar guard known as the black Mamba has still landed a top spot in the 2011-2012 season.
The NBA for the first time had released a list of the top selling jerseys internationally. The list was complied based on sales data from Adidas ( the official appeal provider of the NBA) outside of the United States.
The 16 year vet Kobe Bryant led sales in Europe, Latin America and China while the seasons U.S. top selling NBA jersey went to former MVP Chicago Bulls’ star Derrick Rose.
Rounding out the top 5 international jersey sales were the Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard, the Boston Celtics’ Kevin Garnett and the 3 time MVP Lebron James.
