pat Broadcasting Legend Pat Summerall Dies At Age 82

 

TV legend and long time  broadcasting partner of  former coach and NFL analyst John Madden, Pat Summerall has died at the age of 82. Summerall is widely viewed as the voice of the NFL making key play by play calls in over 16 Super Bowls and numerous U.S. Open tennis matches and Golf’s biggest tournament the Master’s. Summerall also called game for FOX and CBS networks.

Summerall was not just a famed sports announcer he always played 10 NFL seasons (1952-61) with the Chicago Cardinals and New York Giants yet he will be remembered for his second career in broadcasting.  Summerall will be dearly missed by friends, players and sports fans of all ages.
