B.Dot (@BDottm) talks to Al Lindstrom (@AlLindstrom) about starting Rap Radar and his views on cultural tourists

Rap Radar’s B. Dot sits down with Al Lindstrom and talks about the creation of Rap Radar and why he thinks people are attracted to their site which is mostly ran by him and Elliott Wilson.

B.Dot is one of my favorite bloggers because of the fact that he isn’t afraid to criticize music and I feel like we always have the exact same views about music and what’s going on in hip-hop. B.Dot has been a hot topic lately for his critiques of Hot 97 and NY radio for no longer breaking and supporting New York artists. Then B.Dot was a hot topic again for his critiques for the Spin magazine review of the Chief Keef’s album in which he called the writer a “cultural tourists.” He was invited to talk about the topic of “cultural tourist” on the New York Times Popcast. He talks about all of this in this sit down.

You can listen to the Popcast below.
