Recently HHS1987 caught up with Street Execs own Cap 1 to discuss his latest project “Caviar Dreams 2” hosted by DJ ESudd, DJ Scream and DJ Teknikz.
Cap 1 spoke on his new project and the reason he felt it was time to drop “Caviar Dreams 2”. With the first chapter of the “Caviar Dreams” series having been released in January, Cap 1 felt his fans needed some new luxury street music that only he could provide. Cap 1’s 14 track project features production from Metro Boomin, Chophouze, Zaytoven and many more so Cap 1 explained the reason he chose each producer for “Caviar Dreams 2” and the sound he wanted to present.
Cap 1 also explained the reason he chose to drop an album themed mixtape with original tracks versus dropping a mixtape filled with remixes to current hot singles in the streets. Cap 1 elaborated on wanting to give quality to his fans and keep them happy.
Before wrapping up the interview, Cap 1 spoke on his daughter entering the music game and coaching her to success, how he views Chicago’s current rap scene and a upcoming TRU University project that is set to drop soon.
