Kendrick Lamar teams up with Reebok for their new “I Am” ad campaign for the Fall/ Winter 2015 line. Here is the new commercial directed by Anthony Mandler who decided to shoot it in Compton, Kendrick home. This is huge for Kendrick, especially since he has a short film releasing in 2015 as well.
This is what Kendrick had to say about him teaming up with Reebok.
Reebok has a history of helping kids in the community realize their potential is limitless. I saw what the brand was doing, and I wanted to be a part of it and make it even stronger. It’s as simple as that. Kids that listen to my music are looking for inspiration. It’s important that I continue that message in anything I represent.
