Joey Bada$$ reached hip-hop stardom while still in high school, forcing him to drop out early to chase after his dream. That didn’t stop him from going back to lend a helping hand though. Joey and a few of his Pro Era cohorts recently teamed up with Akomplice Clothing and The J Dilla Foundation to donate $10,000 worth of electronic musical production equipment to Edward R. Murrow High School for a new music production program the school will run. Peep the video below to see what happened when Joey went back to school to deliver the donation and see some of his old teachers and friends. They’ll be doing the same thing for a deserving school in Detroit, so be on the lookout for that.
