As huge of brand Diddy’s Revolt TV may be, the network is having a hard time increasing its viewership. Even after bringing Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club to the television screen last fall, the network is struggling to increase its ratings; and with news circulating that Comcast and Time Warner may merge, it doesn’t make the situation any better considering the fact that it will be more difficult for the network to be picked up my other cable companies.
With no additional support from other companies nor advertisers, this puts Revolt TV in a severe cash crunch.
“The good news is that we had deals in place with Comcast and Time Warner Cable,” Clinkscales said. “They have been excellent partners. However, the merger discussions caused the whole industry to slow down. There’s a general wait and see on a lot of things.”
