The storyline sounds so good I wonder if it will ever be true. “I believe I can fly” the Trey Songz remix will have to wait. Deadline Hollywood made reports recently that Warner Bros. films were set to create a story board for a “Space Jam 2” movie starring Miami Heat MVP Lebron James however according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, sources close to Lebron have denied Lebron’s role in any such film.
Although it hasn’t been set in stone that a “Space Jam 2” is in the making wouldn’t it be great to see Daffy and Bugs hit the big screen with today’s best NBA all-stars. Remember how the Monstars stole the powers of Patrick Ewing, Larry Johnson, Shawn Bradley, Mugsy Bogues and Charles Barkley? Imagination a 2014 Monstars team with the talents of Paul George, Kevin Durant, Derrick Brown and Kyrie Irving coached by Mike Brown. Couldn’t you see the city of Cleveland all becoming Monstars fans? Basketball fans young and old would love to see this however it seems like these dreams will stay just that. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for any further details on a possible Space Jam sequel.
Well it was fun while it lasted. LeBron sources refute Deadline report, there’s no Space Jam 2 or Warner Bros. project in works
