Sean Falyon Talks Being Famous, The Steps Toward Success as an Indy Artist & SXSW 2014 (Video)

Recently HHS1987 caught up with indie hip-hop artist Sean Falyon outside of his annual Wednesday evening event “Spin Wednesdays”in Atlanta to discuss his road to success and much more. The West Philadelphia native/Atlanta representer spoke with HHS1987’s Eldorado about his view of the the indie scene hip-hop scene as well as his pros and cons to being “Famous”.

Falyon also spoke on how the Atlanta music scene has influenced his music career. When asked how coming from a northern rap scene and coming to the south how do you stay true to your sound, Falyon commended Atlanta rapper Bonecrusher for helping him find his sound and assisting him in perfecting various melodies.

“When I first moved to Atlanta I was just a rapping ass nigga”. When I got with Bonecrasher and he said rap he meant do a song, I would go in the booth and just start rapping, so he taught me a lot about melodies and writing songs”.
