Oprah Winfrey has always been a catalysis in the African- American acting community and she is yet again set to make a splash. According to Deadline, Oprah Winfrey and Paramount are teaming up to put together a biopic entitled “Selma” about Martin Luther King Jr.’s journey to Selma, Alabama during the Civil Rights movement. Actor David Oyelowo is set to play Martin Luther King. Oprah Winfrey’s most recent film, Lee Daniels’ “The Butler” was a huge success in the box office grossing over $167 million dollars to date.
