Recently, HHS1987 caught up with Atlanta native, T.I.G’s own YFN Lucci to discuss his new project “Wish Me Well” and more. Having hit the streets on Tuesday, December 16, we sat down with Lucci on the eve of his highly anticipated release to get some insight on his project and what he wants his audience to take from the project.
Lucci spoke to us about “Wish Me Wish” and why he chose that title. With this being his first project, Lucci informed us that “Wish Me Well” is similar to leaving the nest and going out solo into the world. “When you leave for school or a new job or a long journey you want folks to Wish You Well” Lucci informed us. Looking to begin a successful rap career, Lucci felt “Wish Me Well” was the perfect title for his debut work.
Lucci also spoke to us about the features he has on the project and his 3 favorite tracks. Working with Johnny Cinco, Skooly and others on this project, Lucci spoke on those tracks and informed us that “Traumatized”, “Pipe Dream” and “Know No Better” are three standout tracks that you must listen to.
Before concluding the interview, Lucci spoke to us about what he has planned as we move into the year 2015 and he had some motivating words for those looking to catch their dreams. Lucci told us to be on the lookout for a upcoming “T.I.G” mixtape in January, more releases from his project “Wish Me Well” and much more from his movement.
The interview was conducted by HHS1987’s Eldorado. The interview was shot by HHS1987’s Brian Da Director.
